Getting there

Monte Isola is a car-free island on Lake Iseo, so the final part of your journey is by ferry.


The main ferry port to Monte Isola is Sulzano, where frequent ferries connect directly to the island.


Ferry tickets to Monte Isola can be purchased directly at the ticket office located at the Sulzano ferry terminal. Tickets are also available at self-service machines and, in some cases, online in advance.


Once you arrive on Monte Isola, getting around is easy by foot or local taxi boat.

Hiking & Exploring Lake Iseo

Lake Iseo offers some of the most scenic walking and hiking opportunities in northern Italy, with a mix of lakeside paths, hillside trails, and panoramic viewpoints.
